In this blog you will find recipes and my recent crafts/projects. I love to bake and enjoy cooking for others. I make cards for my friends and family. The fanciest machine I use for card making is my handy dandy paper cutter. I use scissors for most cutting and am hoping I'm still years away from arthritis. It may take hours to make a card depending on its complexity and how much detail it has. I like to sketch and wish I was a better painter...or rather, I wish I painted more in general.
Here are some pictures of cards I've made in the past.
This is a card I made for a wedding. The flowers are cut from felt and the stems are made of glued pieces of tissue paper. |
My first batch of holiday cards made in bulk. I used felt for the snowmen and most of their accessories. I also glued googly eyes on them. |
Here's a closer look at each card:
I used very chunky yarn for the scarf and regular matching yarn for the earmuffs. |
Imagine cutting all the small pieces for each card! I believe the bird was the hardest to make. |
These holiday cards were far easier to make! Card stock and gem stickers. |
(Card stock and yarn) |
(Card stock) |
(cardstock, ribbon, and pom pom) |
All of the above are birthday cards.
Anniversary card for a fish lover. |
Card for a friend's wedding. I matched the card to the gift. |
Another wedding card. Hard to see but the silver plate in front of the card has "M & K" engraved on it. |
I hope you liked what you see. Stay tuned for my newer stuff :]
